In our home with have had difficulty in getting both the upper and lower floors to stay warm at the same time. We found out that by reversing the spin of our ceiling fans on both floors that we can create a better air flow and have a more economical heating bill. Because most ceiling fans have switches that allow you to pull or push the air from the ceiling by making a simple adjustment and having the air pulled down from the ceiling in the upper floors and doing the opposite in the lower floors we have been able to better heat our home.
