When my husband started researching to find out which grad school would be a good fit for him, he had no idea they would be so expensive. He looked at different programs that were within driving distance from our home, but they all had a pretty big time commitment each week. Since he was teaching full time and coaching after school, he decided that these were not a good option for him. We recently found out we could get satellite at our home by searching “ Rural Internet Service Alabama” so my husband decided that an online graduate program would be the best option. Since he started in the fall, the program has been a perfect fit for our family. My husband usually spends one hour during the week and a couple of hours on the weekends doing grad school work. The entire program will take him three years to complete and when he is finished he will have a Doctorate degree in education. We will have a lot of student loans to pay off when he is finished, but it will be worth the pay increase he gets.
