Time to change those clocks

I have always heard since I was a kid that you should change the batteries in your smoke detectors when the time changes. You know how we “spring” ahead an hour in the spring time and “fall” back an hour during the fall time of the year? I think that’s pretty good advice, because it seems my batteries last about 6 months in those smoke detectors. I use to have some that would last for about a year, but these smoke detectors I have now, have this little red light that constantly blinks. I think that red light uses up the juice in the batteries I have in all my smoke detectors. I just use regular batteries, but with the price of everything going up these days; I think its time to invest in some rechargeable batteries. This would not only save me money, but it would be better for the environment too.
