With all the talk with health care reform both at the national and state level consumers are wondering what all this is going to mean to them when all is said and done. You have heard of people that have taken matters into their hands and scheduled medical travel to countries that offer procedures for a fraction of the cost that they can get the same procedure for in the US. This may become more of a common practice as the demand for health care services becomes more difficult and patients are in need of procedures that were once easier to get. This scenario is based on what the demand and availability for services is like in Canada and while costs are lower the ability to deliver those services have become more challenging.
