CMUThought Community Thought 100 day Challenge

The debate will heat up as the Healthcare reform bill comes to the floor. The national town halls have only proven that there is no clear winner and there remains a lot of uncertainty as to what will eventually happen to health care in America. Many of the major insurers like bcbsnc are looking to remain competitive even if there is a government option that will become available. Many have debated as to whether for-profit companies like the Blue Cross Blue Shield’s of America can compete with the government that does not have to worry about profit and overhead. The American people will stay vocal as to what they want and having a one payer system will not be the answer.
