Today I was having lunch and got one of the Snapple Green teas that is supposed to be better for you. I noticed that on the bottle their was a claim that it had 55g of EGCG. I was not sure what this was but the label stated that it is recommended to have at least 300g of this particular substance. So I came how to do some research and noticed that this ingredient was in various products like Leptovox a diet pill. EGCG is an extract of Green Tea and is supposed to have 200 times the anti-oxidant powers of vitamin E. Anti-oxidants help in the vascular system and have benefits ranging from your metabolism to helping your skin.
