For many Americans with chronic pain they rely on a pain pump to help administer the appropriate amount of medicine to help them through the day. In recent years it has come to light that some of these devices may have been faulty causing harm to those that have used them. It has been noted in those that had shoulder surgery and required the use of a pain pump could have been harmed by the delivery of too much medicine causing the deterioration of cartilage which can lead to a painful post operative condition called PAGCL ( Postarthroscopic Glenohumeral Chondrolysis). If you have had to undergo such a procedure then you may want to research your options.
