Last year there was a company that was doing engraved promotional pens and you would have thought that they were giving away $100 bills. It is amazing to see what people will stand in line for these days. You must always keep your name in front of the customer and make sure that your marketing message is consistent across all channels in order to maximize brand awareness. There are even companies that are branching out from the everyday pens to footwear. There are some companies that make customize flip flops and slippers for customers as promotional items. This is something that I have not seen but sounds like a great marketing idea for some companies this year at the upcoming trade shows.
