One of the best investments that we made when doing our outside landscaping was to purchase motion sensor lights that we had mounted in the back and front of our home. Since we live at the end of the block which becomes a dead end street many of the local high school kids like to come park at the end of the road. With the new lights it has reduced the traffic at night and the kids are finding that the lights are not providing the privacy that they once enjoyed. The motion sensors can be programmed for sensitivity to the distance of the object that is triggering the light. It has also cut down on the late night noise and no one has driven through our yard since the installation.
