My brother in law just recently purchased a new Chevy truck and also invested in a truck toolbox even though he does not own many tools. I asked what he was going to do with this added feature. He said that the main reason he got it was that it added to the look of the truck and plus he can use it to store some of the kids stuff when they go on trips . Most people will invest in a toolbox or other tool storage equipment in the hopes that whey will eventually fill it up. They are great to store items and tools and then can be locked to secure your tools and other items instead of just leaving them in the bed of the truck.
