August is the time when most Americans will head to the beach or shore and on the east coast the Outer Banks is a popular choice.
Here you can see the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse,which is the tallest brick beacon in the US and also known as “America’s Lighthouse” It stands an impressive 208 feet tall and is a recognized landmark.
