The effects of cerebral palsy

   Posted by: admin   in Education

I was doing some reading on a neurological disorder called cerebral palsy. There are basically three types of cerebral palsy which are:

  • Spastic CP ? characterized by stiffness of the body parts and decreased mobility
  • Athetoid CP ? marked by uncontrolled, involuntary movements
  • Ataxic CP ? primary symptoms include unsteady gait, with decreased balance and depth perception

This is usually detected in early childhood and has several causes one unfortunately that can be caused by negligence at the time of birth where the brain is deprived of oxygen that can be a factor in long term neurological disorders. It could also be attributed to insufficient development of the brain and this can be genetic or resulting from the mothers activities such as those that drink or smoke during pregnancy. If you suspect that your child was harmed by someone else’s negligence you have option that can help you seek damages.

A good nights sleep

Posted by: admin   in Consumer Media

I have seen commercials for memory foam beds and they look extremely comfortable. We have all had mattresses that were good to begin with and then after a few months or years they loose the support that they once had causing you aches and pains. You can tell that you are not getting a good nights sleep when you wake up tired and aching. I have gotten used to the sleep that we get with our current mattress, but I know there has something better. Now with online companies like Bedinabox.com you can find platform beds that can accommodate the newer memory foam beds and they will have them shipped directly to your home. They come with a 120 day in home trial and a 10 year warranty. Your health and sleep are important so be sure to get the best sleep that you can.

Plasma TVs are the reason for Circuit City and Best Buy to have such great financial reporting s, as they stated that the sales are increasing, and contribute to their bottom line.

Make your own espresso

Posted by: admin   in Consumer Generated

After going paying for my morning espresso drink I got to thinking just how much I spend per month on a cup of coffee. At about an average of $4 for my triple white mocha, I figured that I spend at least $75 to $80 a month. The convenience is a big key in my decision when finding a local espresso stand. I have always thought of getting my own personal espresso maker for home to save money but where do you begin and what makes a good machine. At sites like 1stincoffee they have a great selection of espresso machines and give you a one stop shopping experience to find the right coffee maker for you. It would be great to have the ability to make your own espresso on that Saturday morning without having to step out of your home. Maybe this is something that I will put down on my Christmas wish list and we will see what happens.

Check out my tags

soccer tags

My wife and I belong to an indoor soccer league where we attempt to keep up with some of the younger kids that are out there. Our team is made up of mainly 30 something couples with kids. While we have won a few games we are out there to have fun and get some exercise although some of the games can get pretty intense. Our team name is “The Rock Stars”, and this was suggested by our kids so we decided that would work. As we played the other teams in our division they all seemed to have matching jerseys and appeared to have played together for awhile. So to help create a team identity and show our unity I ordered this tag to attach to our bags and have given the information to the rest of our team. Having matching dog tags for our gear may not make us any better but the thought is that at least everyone will know who brought the beer.

finding jewelry online

Posted by: admin   in Thought of the Day

Searching for jewelry online can be tricky when looking for that special gift. Now that Mothers Day is the next big holiday it would be a great idea to find out what she likes and surprise her with a nice pair of earrings or a birthstone ring. We surprised my mom last year with bracelet with the grandkids birthstones on individual charms. This was very personal and then we add to it whenever there is a new grand child born. There are so many different styles of diamonds, necklaces, and ear rings. The key to shopping online is to check selection, price, and reputation. Be sure to also check what their return policy is just in case you receive the item and it is not what you had in mind.

At Applesofgold.com they offer gemstone jewelry and have a great selection in jewelry for men and women. They have great prices and their site is easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. So whether you are looking for womens rings or Men’s 14k gold chain you will have a large selection to choose from.

What’s the deal with the 0% interest?

Posted by: admin   in Finance and credit

In an attempt to gain customers in a highly competitive market, credit card companies are offering 0% for balance transfers and sometimes purchases for a specified time. This can be a great deal if you plan on paying the card off before the 0% ends, and make your payments on time. If you miss one payment, most will default your interest rate to 19% or higher, plus accrued interest on the unpaid balance. OUCH!They can also change your rate if your credit rating changes after you have been approved which can be tricky over the course of a year or two. Since one small mistake could result in a huge penalty on your interest rate.
Finding the right Balance Transfer Cards for your credit can be quite simple with dedicated search sites like creditcardsearchengine.com. They offer a very convenient way to shop for various credit card deals and lets you compare them side by side. This is a great way to maximize your time as well as find the best deal online. Do not rely on the mailings that you get weekly to determine the credit card that you will use. Do your research and you will be better off in the long run.

Content drives searches

Posted by: admin   in SEO, Thought of the Day

There is a term that is used in search engine management called “Evergreen content” What this means is content that is not topical, such who won Monday Night Football, but more along the lines of “How to find George Lindemann Sr.” This and other topics that have no time of expiration and are very specific in their search terms. If you are trying to get noticed and traffic to your site, then you need to be specific in your keywords, and use through out your blog or site.

Linking to high quality content is also very helpful when deploying your search engine campaign. And if you can get those sites to link back to you your are farther ahead than your competition. Don’t rely on a simple few keywords in your description in hopes to achieve top placement in the search engines. Design your content and messaging around your top 3 or 4 key phrases and then use those in all your online branding.
