Many of the landmark casinos and hotels are being torn down to make way for newer and larger casinos. I read in a an article that casinos are now making more of their money from the hotel and shops and breaking even on the actual casino. This may be the reason for the newest trend of Condo Hotels that target the high rollers and those that want live close to the city that never sleeps. A few of these are being built right into the hotels so that when their owners are away their condos can be rented out to hotel guests.
