Almost everyone that has been online has had to deal with popups. These are the annoying ads that pop up on your screen when you visit a site where an advertiser is trying to get you to purchase their service or product. The problem with a lot of the pop up ads are that they will leave traces or cookies on your PC so that advertisers can better track their click through rate. Many companies have now come out with popup blocker software that can help reduce the amount of ads that you will see and can help your PC from getting bogged down with all those cookies.
