Summer time is here and there is no better time to get out and excercise. All three of my childrena have heelys and I have a pair of Bauer rollerblades that we use out on the walking trails. I was little hesitant on the purchase of the Heelys just because they were expensive and if the kids were just wearing them like sneakers they were not wearing helmets. Now they have gotten so good that you can hardly tell that they are on skates and they have even mastered a few tricks that are pretty cool. Now if I could learn how to stop on my rollerblades without having to jump off the path into the grass.
