After Rhinoplasty Surgery What Can I Expect?
For at least five to eight days after surgery, patients will wear a small splint for protection and stability of the nose. The majority of the incisions will be inside the nose and invisible. If any packing is used during surgery it is usually removed the following day after surgery.
The face will be puffy after surgery and patients may experience some bruising and minor swelling around the eye area in the following days. Cold compresses will help with the swelling and pain medication may be required.
