I just recently took a new role within our company that allows me to work out of my home. I am in the field with my reps 4 out of the 5 days, but I do get one office day per week. Working in an office is much easier since you have all the tools you need such copiers, filing space, and other office supplies. My home organization at first was not as smooth as I had hoped. I had files and paperwork all over my desk and trying to make sure that I had access to the documents I needed when I went on a field ride was a little tricky. Now that I have settled and gotten my home office organized things are going much better and when asked to generate a report, or get information on a particular teleconference it is all within my fingertips. There are many things out there to help you get organized and keep your workspace confined like this hideaway desk.
