The trickle effect of consumers over extending themselves is being seen across the country. When I was growing up it seemed that there were only a hand few of makers for jeans. You had Levi, Lee, and the fashioable Jordache. Today there are several makers of jeans and with the look of the low cut jeans one of those makers true religion jeans, crafts each pair by hand to give you more of an individual feel. They make styles for both men and women and infuses a rock & roll attitude with a blues feel. For us men it is pretty easy to walk in to a store and get a pair of jeans. For women it becomes quite the ordeal since no two pair feel the same ( so I am told as I am waiting outside the fitting room) So if you are in the market for a new style of jean then maybe it is time to find a new religion.

I recently purchased my wife skin care products for her birthday and thought that I was doing something different and unique. Comes to find out that women are pretty particular about their skin care products and once they find a certain brand or type they are pretty loyal. I was all excited that I had found some items that would allow her to take some time for her to relax and feel more beautiful. (Not that she was not beautiful already) The lesson was learned and we actually ended up going back to the store and finding some of the items that she would use.

Summer time is here and there is no better time to get out and excercise. All three of my childrena have heelys and I have a pair of Bauer rollerblades that we use out on the walking trails. I was little hesitant on the purchase of the Heelys just because they were expensive and if the kids were just wearing them like sneakers they were not wearing helmets. Now they have gotten so good that you can hardly tell that they are on skates and they have even mastered a few tricks that are pretty cool. Now if I could learn how to stop on my rollerblades without having to jump off the path into the grass.

It appears that T-Shirts with catchy sayings on them have come back in fashion. I was amazed when my daughter came home with a t-shirt that said ” You can talk to me but I may not respond” How true! The market for funny t-shirts

I just recently took a new role within our company that allows me to work out of my home. I am in the field with my reps 4 out of the 5 days, but I do get one office day per week. Working in an office is much easier since you have all the tools you need such copiers, filing space, and other office supplies. My home organization at first was not as smooth as I had hoped. I had files and paperwork all over my desk and trying to make sure that I had access to the documents I needed when I went on a field ride was a little tricky. Now that I have settled and gotten my home office organized things are going much better and when asked to generate a report, or get information on a particular teleconference it is all within my fingertips. We recently had a meeting in the beautiful city of San Diego. While it is a great location it is also very difficult to not think about the great weather outside while in your meeting. We would venture out to the Gas Light district at night to take in the San Diego Night life and were never disappointed. It seemed like there was always something going on no matter what day of the week. The other nice thing is that city is exceptionally clean and you never felt like you were getting into a bad part of town.

When I was growing up the only thing that my parents had to worry about concerning my appearance was me getting an ear ring and long hair. Todays youth have taken body expression to the next level and you see more and more young adults with tongue rings, nose rings, and tattoos. I always wonder what they will do when they enter the work force and you start to see some of these kids in corporate America. We just recently purchased a new home and had the task of getting blinds for most of the windows. When you think of blinds you think just the standard mini-blinds that may not seem as modern. We were in an office the other day and they had a nice waiting room with plants and trees that lined the space. One of the parents in the office had a small child that was playing and decided to go over to one of the plants and explore a bit. They must have thought that these were plants like at home and tried to pull off one of the leaves. As they did this the leaf did not come off and the entire tree ( it was small and no one got hurt) fell on top of the little boy. The office had silk trees that really did look real and even I was impressed, after I got done chuckling at the little boy. I am sure he will think twice before pulling on leaves again.
