I can remember my first video conference with the delay in speech and video. It was almost distracting to the meeting since there was such a huge delay in the presentation and communication. Video conferencing has come a long way and now with high speed broadband and high definition TVs the meetings are amazing. The true value of long distance meetings is becoming a reality and will eventually end saving companies millions in lost work time related to travel.
