The rosary used in prayer within the Catholic church dates back to the 14th century. There are  15 groups of 10 ‘decades’ of the Marian prayer the ‘Hail Mary’, each headed by an ‘Our Father’, while meditating on the principle events surrounding Jesus’ life, especially where these have a specific connection with Mary. The rosaries are given during baptism or special events in ones life that is part of the catholic faith. The first part of the praying the rosary is the “Our Father” and the second part of consists of the “Hail Mary”
