Pen Pals
My dad and I were talking a while back about how we communicate these days. He longs for the days when people pick up a pen and pad to write a letter. We have become so use to just typing up an email and then sending off to our parents or loved ones. There is something to be said about a hand written note of appreciation. Even for those manage people sending off an email of congratulations can be nice but the impact of a short hand written note can make even more of an impact. I was looking around the house and it seems that all of our’s are advertising pens. We have some from banks, auto repair shops, and dentist’s offices. The pen has become a constant vehicle for people to promote their business so I wonder when I do sit down to write a letter to my folks if I will somehow have a desire to purchase some new tires. Just a thought!

Thoughts on Rocky Balboa
We got a chance to go see the last Rocky. Being a huge Rocky fan I thought it was well worth the price of admission and really tied all the previous Rocky’s together. I was a little concerned that they were going to have Rocky and Little Marie, who played in Rocky 5 get together. This was going to take the place of Adrian who is not in the last installment, and was some of the storyline on why Rocky got back in the ring. Originally there was speculation that Rocky might actually die in the ring. The ending was great and did put to rest all the speculation. Now you will be able to own the newest Rocky Balboa movie on DVD on March 20th. This will help to complete my Rocky collection and I can’t wait to view the DVD again.
