CMUThought Community Thought 100 day Challenge

Apparently the power of blogs can affect even Google. Google was found advertising it’s own services in tips that it had published in SERP pages searched by users. It is interesting that Google has put the practice on hold for now, thanks to the many who cried out that this was not proper. I am not sure that this creates any problems as Google is a for profit company and if they elect to use tips and blogs to help others find their services then more power to them. People fail to see that this creates opportunities for others that use blogs as a means to create awareness of their services. So let’s give them a break and learn from the giant companies on how we can become better at driving that traffic.
